 Abergavenny garden

Our last two trappings in May were a bit disappointing number-wise but did produce a couple of new species for this site (Broken-barred Carpet and a Puss Moth) bringing our total species to 263 since 2014.

26th May

Alder Moth (1), Brimstone Moth (3), Broken-barred Carpet (1), Common Marbled Carpet (5), Common Quaker (1), Coronet (2), Flame (1), Flame Shoulder (3), Heart & Dart (1), Marbled Minor (1) Pale Tussock (2), Snout (1)

31st May

Coronet (1), Flame Shoulder (2), Heart & Dart (4), May Highflyer (1), Peppered Moth (2), Pale Tussock (1), Poplar Hawkmoth (1), Puss Moth (1), Silver-ground Carpet (1), Vine's Rustic (2)

Figured are: Puss Moth [I know we've seen one of these in a recent posting, but I couldn't resist this handsome moth], Coronet, Broken-barred Carpet, Alder Moth
