Sheila and I ran the MV Robinson overnight. This morning there was a Dewick's Plusia on the pebble-dash wall behind the trap - about 5' above it. I spoke to Kevin Hewitt this morning and he said he had the 2nd Welsh record last year at Newport Wetlands visitor centre and then Sam Bosanquet had one at Dingestow Court. This is therefore the 3rd county record and possibly only the 4th Welsh record. Kevin also told me that Norman Lowe had had the 1st Welsh Record in Breconshire and that this once rare migrant, is actually breeding in Herefordshire.
