Lower Hale Wood, Tintern
A visit to this higher elevated woodland complex overlooking the Angiddy river brought low numbers of moths and species as expected- 37 moths of 23 species.
Three of those moths were Oak Lutestring which would make this a new 'mini site'. It has been found within the local vicinity but this would help join up the dots for it's presence near to and around Tintern.
