Diurnea lipsiella update

Recent to further investigations by Sam Bosanquet has led to my record last year of Diurnea lipsiella at Wentwood  now being named as a 2nd Vice county record.

There was a previous record for Monmouthshire reportedly listed by the late G.A. Neil Horton. Although I checked his book Monmouthshire Lepidoptera- The Butterflies and Moths of Gwent- I could not find it, but this has been pointed out to me by Sam that it was under it's old name Diurnea phryganella, so hence my confusion. It's interesting to note that this 1st specimen listed from Monmouthshire, now resides in the Natural History Museum.

Thank you Sam for your follow up.
