Daytime Observations, Newport Wetlands NNR, 21st June 2022
Yesterday I saw 4 Marbled Whites, 3 Painted Ladies, one Red Admiral, several fresh Commas, one fresh Common Blue, several fresh Small Tortoiseshells, 8 Narrow-bordered Five-spot Burnets, several Large Skippers, numerous Meadow Browns and Ringlets, a rather late Drinker caterpillar and a rather small Oak Eggar caterpillar.

Forecast is for 19c at midnight tonight and 16c at dawn in Newport - get you traps on!
