LIGHTHOUSE PARK

Ran the MV last night 26/8 up until 0000. 100 moths of 34 species. Highlights were:-

7 x Old Lady
1 x Sharp-angled Peacock
1 x Pinion-streaked Snout
1 x Marbled Green
1 x Cypress Pug
1 x Bordered Beauty
1 x Oak Eggar

    Wow, that's a great haul! 7 Old Ladies is amazing; I have caught fewer than 7 at MV here in 25 years of mothing!

    Sam i released the Old Lady moths along with rest of catch at the top of my lane. Next night had another 6 Old Lady.
