Haisbro Avenue, Newport 24th August

Ran the MV over-night and recorded 27 species. 78 Large Yellow Underwings. High-light was 2 Old Ladies - one of my favourite moths.

    Yes, it is nice to see an Old Lady Moth Kevin, two at once quite unusual.
    You don't them too often although I had just found one at my workplace (potential new site) on the 17th August.

    its the size thats most impressive - look at the large yellow underwing above for comparison,
