Catching up

Moth numbers seem to be down a little since early July, but there are still plenty of species around.  Highlights from three recent MV sessions at Dingestow were:
22/7 1 Mocha, 1 Haworth's Pug, 1 Acleris aspersana (5th Dingestow record).

 

23/7 1 Slender Brindle (5th Dingestow record), 2 Dark Swordgrass, 1 Maiden's Blush, 1 Maple Pug, 1 Calamotropha paludella (4th Dingestow record), 6+ Agriphila selasella, 1 Eulamprotes atrella.

 

25/7 1 Poplar Kitten (2nd Dingestow record), 1 Turnip Moth, 2 Vine's Rustic, 1 Lime-speck Pug, 1 Eulamprotes atrella.
