Uskmouth Reedbeds, Newport Wetlands NNR, 19th July 2022 

 I ran the actinic Skinner trap overnight. This morning I recorded 28 species. High-lights were: 1 Fen Wainscot, 52 Southern Wainscots, 15 Silky Wainscots, 3 Brown-veined Wainscots, 3 Obscure Wainscots, 12 Drinkers, 4 Garden Tigers, 2 Elephant Hawkmoths, 1 Pebble Prominent, 1 Latticed Heath, 5 Ruby Tigers, 1 Dusky Sallow, 1 Straw Underwing, and a Sallow Kitten.
