Despite intermittent light rain we trapped about 200 moths from 40 species, including eyed, poplar and elephant hawkmoths. No small elephants on this occasion :-)
We were pleased to see a couple of rosy footman moths, a favourite of ours, and also a brown tail.
New for us this year were shaded broad bar and flounced rustic.
Among several immigrants were a small mottled willow and a european corn borer.
